FEMA Disaster Individual Assistance

On August 20, 2024, the President granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Vermont, triggering the release of federal funds to help individuals and communities recover from Severe Storm, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides that occurred July 9-11, 2024.

FEMA Disaster Assistance Teams are in Stowe giving support after the severe storms and flooding that occurred on July 10-11, 2024. The FEMA teams are going door to door, canvasing neighborhoods in Stowe, helping residents register for FEMA disaster assistance. The FEMA teams will be canvasing the hardest areas impacted by the July storm.

The FEMA teams will be working in Stowe starting Tuesday, August 27, 2024 through Friday, August 30, 2024.
