Please call (802) 253-6133 to schedule an appointment. Once you have an appointment, please email your marriage application to townclerk@stowevt.gov.
Both parties need to be present with photo identification such as driver’s license or passport.
The cost of the marriage license is $80 plus $10 per certified copy. The certified copy is proof of marriage and is generally ordered and paid for at the time of licensing.
Additional copies can be obtained at any time in the future through the mail or by stopping by for another visit to Stowe!
